Wealth Advisors Network is seeking career oriented team members for the following positions in our Financial Services department. Additional positions not currently listed may be available for the right person who is willing to take initiative and is dedicated to professionalism and excellence in quality and service.

Financial Services Trainee
Wealth Advisors Network, a financial services subsidiary of Contryman Associates, P.C., a Certified Public Accounting firm, is looking for a special individual who has the desire to grow and the drive to succeed in a fast paced environment. This highly motivated person must be a college graduate who has completed or is enrolled in a Master’s program in financial planning. The candidate must be willing to train for approximately 18 months in Hastings and/or Grand Island, Nebraska and then be relocated to another office location in Nebraska as a lead Wealth Care Professional for that location. Candidate should be a career oriented self-starter and be committed to life-long learning because Wealth Advisors Network is a growing wealth care practice. As a trainee, responsibilities include obtaining required licenses; processing brokerage and insurance paperwork; learning compliance requirements; operations liaison with broker-dealer; developing investment management philosophy; developing comprehensive financial planning philosophy; some client relations; correspondence; data analysis; and learning other company procedures. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented with excellent math, customer service, organizational, and computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Series 7 and 66 securities registrations and Nebraska insurance licenses required within 12 months of employment. CFP® examination and licensing encouraged within 24 months.

Portfolio Analyst
Wealth Advisors Network, a financial services subsidiary of Contryman Associates, P.C. (a Certified Public Accounting firm), is looking for a very well qualified and experienced Portfolio Analyst who will be responsible for monitoring economic events, anticipating market movements, and developing recommended portfolios consistent with our investment philosophy. The analyst will prepare reports and make presentations at quarterly training meetings. He/she will help develop an overall portfolio approach that meets the needs of individual clients served by Investment Adviser Representative’s of our firm. The Portfolio Analyst will assist in the development and training of team members. Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required. Master’s degree desirable. Candidate should be licensed as a CFA® or a similar designation. Series 66 or equivalent securities license registrations will be required if not already held.
